Sebastian Heynig was born in Santiago, Chile in 1979. In 1993 he began his saxophone studies at the Projazz Academy of Music. In 1999 he attends a bachelor’s degree in visual arts at the University of Playa Ancha in Valparaiso and in the same year he enters the Music Conservatory of the Catholic University of Valparaiso to continue his music and saxophone studies. Throughout his career he develops different artistic and musical projects in Cuba, Chile, Argentina and various countries in Europe. Since 1999, Sebastian has exhibited his oil paintings, watercolors and photographs in various galleries in the United States, Latin America and Europe. In October 2019 he performs a concert tour in various cities of Japan and participating with his paintings in a collective exhibition “cross over” in Festa Design Gallery in Tokyo. Sebastian currently lives in Patagonia, Argentina.
