Booth #106, SC-3
Jose Leal – Son of a Portuguese mother and Irish father, this painter born in 1953 began his work as an artist due to a need to search for innovative forms of expression and a deliberate departure from the traditional.
Self-taught in its beginnings, he knew how to find inspiration in the tortuous gaze of life and in his own melancholy. What he paints is perceived, transmitted, sensitizes.
His paintings seem simple, some with a reductionism in the palette of colors which only usually express unique sensations, but deeply energetic. Abstractionism in its maximum purity.
His works simply breathe, you just need to feel it.
